5 minutes to prep • 35-40 minutes to bake

Ingredients

5-6 Apples Peeled, cored, and Sliced (Granny Smith apples are best)

1 Tablespoon of Cinnamon 2 Tablespoon of Sugar

1 lemon…squeezed/juiced 1 Cup of Flour

1 Cup of Brown Sugar

1/2 Cup of Butter (Cold and Diced into pieces)

1/2 Cup of Rolled Oats 1 Teaspoon of Salt

1/2 Cup of Water

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a greased/buttered 8×8 baking dish, toss/mix in apples cinnamon, sugar, lemon juice.

In a mixing bowl combine brown sugar, flour, salt, and diced cold butter (use a pastry blade or hands).

Mix in oats.

Spread topping over apples in baking dish, and gently pat to even it out (if you like the topping chewy, spray/sprinkle 1/4 cup of water over the top).

Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Serve with vanilla sauce or ice cream or whipped cream.
